ABOUT US
Established in 2023, we brought together the fundamental aspects of self defence, fitness and realism. We bring out the best version of you with constructive feedback and a detailed lesson plan. Our goal is to make you confident with self defence and fit to defend yourself should you ever come across that scenario.
​
We have taken traditional karate and modernized it with mixed martial arts to create the perfect form of self defence and fitness. We cover fights from standing up to grappling on the ground. Also, defending against groups and weapons.
Our goal is to make you succeed in everyday life and to know you can defend yourself confidently in dangerous situations.

Instructors
All of our instructors and assistance are DBS checked, insured and fully qualified to teach our syllabus. We also have First Aid Training and Child Safeguarding done regularly to ensure the best quality service for everyone.​

Richard Clark-Varma: Chief Instructor

Training martial arts from a young age, he got his black belt in 2019, but has been teaching since 2015. He decided to take a more realistic approach to teaching self defense by incorporating Jujitsu and other modern martial arts.

​Reza Babaie: Instructor
​
​
Started learning karate at a young age in my home country and earned my black belt at 17. I am now a 3rd Dan black belt with decades of training and experience.
I am very passionate about self-defence and love teaching others. I am highly disciplined and will ensure you receive a great workout.
​Nina Babaie: Assistant Instructor
​
​
Having recently started karate, I help my husband run the classes by supporting the younger students and beginners. I am eager to continue learning more about karate and enjoy working with everyone.
